Drip, Drop   Leave a comment

I begin this blog today in observance of World Water Day and also a way to spread the message of water conservation.  But it’s not just ensuring we don’t waste water.  We must make sure everyone has access to potable water worldwide.

According to the UN, it’s predicted that by 2025, 3.4 billion people will be living in countries with insufficient water supplies.

It’s up to us to make sure that doesn’t happen.

We live comfortably in North America.  We have 16% of the world’s water supply and 8% of its population.  We have among the best water santiation programs in the world, yet we are willing to waste so much to purchase bottled water?  Bottled water that contains the same thing as our own taps?

I hope to inform you of some of the dangers facing our world with water and how we each can make a difference in water conservation.
